When you have had enough of office drama, and need to escape from demanding clients, an island getaway is just what you need. Make Maui the destination of your next Hawaiian vacation. Maui offers all the fun attractions of other popular islands, but also provides a peaceful and romantic atmosphere.

The Grand Wailea Resort and Spa in Maui is the perfect blend of fun and relaxation. The Grand Wailea is nothing like any resort you have ever been to. Enter the lobby and look up and you will see beautiful blue sky. The hotel is completely open to the elements, allowing for guests to enjoy sunshine and fresh air from every corner of the resort. Fresh guava and pineapple juice is also on hand in the lobby, so guests can savor island flavors from the moment they enter the resort. Hawaiian statues decorate the lobby floor, providing guests with a real cultural experience.

Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, or a vacation for the family, the Grand Wailea is a perfect destination. There are two distinct hotel pools located on the property. The Hibiscus pool is 4,850 square feet, and features a giant mosaic of a Hibiscus flower. The pool is beautiful, and provides adults with a relaxing place to cool off. The lounge beds surrounding the pool are incredibly comfortable, so be sure to put enough sun screen on in case you fall asleep in the island sun. The pool also features two Jacuzzis. Worried that the kids won’t have fun? The Wailea Canyon Activity pool is the second pool on the property. This multi-faceted pool offers many fun features for kids and adults. The pool offers the worlds only water elevator, five water slides, a Tarzan rope swing, six waterfalls, three Jacuzzis, a lazy river, and an infant pool. For adults, the pool also features a swim-up bar where adults can enjoy cool cocktails, and caves for private relaxation.

The hotel also offers golf, a fitness center, tennis, shopping and of course a full spa experience. The Wailea Blue Course provides golfers with stunning views of the island, the ocean, and the dormant Haleakala volcano. For golfers who prefer a challenge, the Wailea Gold Course features rugged terrain perfect for experienced golfers.

The Grand Wailea Spa offers more than 100 treatments for guests to choose from. The spa features treatments like a Pacific Seaweed masque and a seashell massage. Dining at the resort is also a five star experience. Humu is located right on the water. Enjoy a beautiful view as you dine on island dishes like Macadamia nut and pumpkin seed crusted Mahi Mahi and Malaysian style marinated rack of lamb. If you wish to have a casual lunch, try Cafe Kula. Enjoy a view of the Hawaiian gardens as you snack on baked pastries, gourmet quiches, or Lappert’s ice cream. The Grand Wailea is the perfect destination for your next Hawaiian vacation. Enjoy a quiche with a view in the morning, relax with a spa treatment, and then spend the rest of the day by the pool. Take the kids down one of the many waterslides, and then spend the night romancing your spouse. The Grand Wailea provides relaxation, fun, and romance in one beautiful location.
