Day 1: Welcome to South Africa!

 

Step in the warm embrace of Africa through this delightful trip to Botswana. Get deboarded at the international airport of Johannesburg and meet your private guide at the exit doors. He will escort you to your luxurious hotel where you can recharge and revitalize before your adventure begins. Enjoy the welcome dinner and drinks while sitting on the lap of the mother nature. Being the first day of your stay in Botswana, try to absorb more in less time. Sit by a balcony for an open view to the grasslands. You can also take a walk around the lodge to explore the surroundings for the rest of the day. This would be a couple of things that every guide will suggest you to on the first day of your African Safari. Have a good night’s sleep to wake up all fresh and excited to begin your much awaited Botswana Safari tour.

Days 2-4: In the Okavango Delta

Wake up early in the morning. Today, you will fly to Maun, Botswana, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The first few glimpses of the scenic beauty of Botswana can be capture today itself. You will board a private charter plane to fly above magical, sprawling swamps of Botswana. Gance through your window at the stunningly beautiful scenery where the sands of the Kalahari can be seen transforming into the glorious channels of the Okavango Delta. Reach your first destination which would be a Botswana Safari Camp nestled between a lush green forest and a scenic lagoon. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon in the camp and soak up your surroundings. Let your guide meet you at the tea time to discuss the upcoming game drive you will be having in the riverine forest of Botswana.

The next day in the camp will witness the beginning of your Botswana game driving. Board an open vehicle with a camera full of battery, a pair of binoculars, and of course your guide who will take you deep inside the forest.

Enter the forest and you will find it packed full with endless grassland, floodplains, and glistening rivers. Search for the herds of elephants first. Being huge in size, you will easily spot them in the first few minutes of your drive. After this, you can proceed ahead to spot the pride of big cats. There will also be a decent count of buffalos, antelopes, and wild dogs which you will spot later in the drive. After spending an adventurous day of game driving, return to the camp for meals and drinks.

Days 5-7: Exploring the scenic beauty of Kalahari

Your next destination would be the lush green forests of Kalahari. Fly to Kalahari where one of the bushman lodges await you with all the accommodations you will be needing during your stay. In Kalahari, you will again experience an incredible game driving but this time, it will not happen via a vehicle but by a boat. Recline along the pools and wait for the animals come outside. Gaze at the basking crocodiles and try not to get scared of their activities. Once you are done with the river game driving, it’s time to explore the wilderness in the wild through the saddle. Get started with the amazing horseback riding to explore the untamed corners of the forest by sitting on the top of a horse. Day 8: Moremi: From Desert to Delta

Day 12: Departure
