Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to the land of Tanzania.

On day one of your trip, you will be heading towards your lodge while crossing the mount view from a side. Driving through the mount Peru is a one-of-a-kind experience that you are going to cherish for the rest of your life. The snow-capped mountains standing imperiously on the edges look stunning. The drive will be of a few hours only and you will be dropped to your lodge in the late afternoon. Reaching late in the noon will restrict you from exploring Tanzania on the first day. So, it would be better you spend the remaining day resting and relaxing in your lodge. Let the kids rest and rejuvenate for the upcoming Tanzania safari and beach holiday.

Day 2-3: Experience your first Tanzania safari at Tarangire National Park

Drive from Mount Peru to the Tarangire National Park, which will be your safari destination. While driving to the park, get marvel by the by the clamor of baboons, large elephants herds, leopards, buffalos, zebras, and many more on your way. Do not miss to take your binoculars out to capture the marvelous wildlife and incredible landscape spread all around. On reaching the park, you will be amazed at the entrance gate of the park is covered with large flocks of birds. Enter the park and get ready to explore the wilderness of Tanzania as this place has great opportunities for privacy and exclusivity in the wilderness. If arriving in the early morning, there are chances that you will spot the rare and endangered wild dog or an oryx. Over the course of the morning, wild animals like giraffe, wildebeest, eland, and impala are sure to cross your sights, making the trip a worth. Drive back to your lodge after the sunset and get back to the park on the next day. Since the park is full of wilderness and Savannah, you can explore it completely on a single day, especially when it includes the time of driving back and to from your lodge. So, as the sun descends, get back to your lodge, and hit the park on the next day to capture more wilderness of Tanzania.

Day 4: Leaving Tarangire and arriving Lake Eyasi

After exploring the Tarangire National Park for two days, it’s time to leave the park and head out for the next safari destination. So, on day four, you will be driving from Tarangire National Park to Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow endorheic salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau. While wildlife viewing in this area will be good, the real draw to the region is the opportunity to spend time with the Hadzabe people, who have lived here for nearly 10,000 years. Spend the day exploring the lake and the people, and spend the nights star gazing around the fireplace under the uninterrupted starry night sky.

Day 5-7: Drive from Lake Eyasi to Serengeti, game drives, great wildebeest migration, and much more

Take a drive from Lake Eyasi to Serengeti, a geographical region in Africa which is located mainly in northern Tanzania and extends into south-western Kenya. You are going to spend three more days in driving and exploring the wildlife of Serengeti. On your way, you will stop at Olduvai Gorge where the Australopithecus was discovered. Spend some hours to explore the place and try to dig deeper into its history. Reach Serengeti and relax in your lodge to begin an ultimate Serengeti game drive on the next day.
