Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Relax in Arusha

Meet your guide at the international airport of Kilimanjaro who will drop you to your hotel in Arusha. While you are driving to your hotel, do not miss to capture the intriguing scenes from the window as you venture through a rural African landscape. Spot women in colorful dresses carrying baskets on their head, find roadside sellers selling mountains of bananas, and a lot more from the windows of your car. Within a few minutes, you will reach your hotel where all you need to do is relax and wait for the next day.

Day 2-3: Spot the Giant Elephant Herds in Tarangire National Park

Elephants are the giants of Africa and after Gorillas, it’s the elephants who make this place more wild and thrilling. On day one of your tour, you will be visiting Tarangire National Park which is a home to massive elephants herds. Within a few minutes of your entrance, you will spot elephants walking in herds on the roads of the park. See them bathing, walking, swaying their trunk and tail in Tarangire National Park. Not only elephants, but the park is also known to be a home to a number of predators and countless birds which makes it one of the best spot to be visited in Tanzania. You can spend2-3 days in the park depending on the preferences you have for your Tanzania Safari Vacation

Day 4: Witnessing the Tree-climbing Lions at Lake Manyara

If Tarangire National Park offers the wilderness in the wild, then Lake Manyara offers the relaxation and endless beauty of the nature that every human eye seeks for. Nestled into a woodland clearing, Lake Manyara provides a new habitat to explore. Thousands of flamingos turning the color of the lake to pink is a stunning scene. Walk along the water banks, enjoy a deep canoeing, or simply do the both at a leisurely pace. This place is going to be your faves because it feels like living in the lap of nature. While enjoying all this, do not miss that hanging tail peeking you from the high branches of trees. You might feel it an illusion, but it’s not. It’s the lion looking for its prey right in the branches. Get ready to witness this all.

Day 5: The Full Big Five in Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up in the early morning to see a blanket of mysterious mist that rises from the crater floor. See massive elephant bulls clambering down the slopes, followed by kudu, wildebeest, and your safari truck. If you haven’t spot big cats yet, this is the right time to spot the same. On your safari, you will find yourself inside an inactive volcano and questioning which unique ecosystem you want to explore first. You can start with the woodland, where majestic eland and waterbuck can be found. Slowly and steadily, you can move forward to spot the gracious antelopes combine size and beauty. Look around and you will spot a hippo's wheeze-honk grabbing your attention, the rowdy beast plodding along a lakeshore and munching on a carpet of fresh grass. You could not have asked for more on a Tanzania Safari? Right??
