Welcome to the city of Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. On arrival, meet your private guide, who will escort you to your cozy hotel. Today, you will embark on a journey to Nagarhole National Park, also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park (a four-hour drive). The park is situated in the Western Ghats and is known for its diverse wildlife and picturesque landscapes. You will enjoy a jeep safari through the park, where you can spot various animals and birds in their natural habitats. After a thrilling safari, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will continue to the city of Mysore, approx. 1.5 hours drive from Nagarhole National Park. Mysore is famous for its palaces and temples, and you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most famous sites in the city, such as the Mysore Palace. Check into your hotel in Mysore for an overnight stay.
Today, you will travel to Bandipur, which is situated approx. 2-hour drive from Mysore. Bandipur National Park is one of India's most popular wildlife sanctuaries. Immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes as you embark on a wildlife safari, where you will spot various animals and birds in their natural habitats. The park is teeming with life waiting to be discovered, from majestic tigers to playful elephants. Take a break and relish a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in a luxurious hotel with memories of a lifetime.
After breakfast, you will leave for the charming hill station of Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, which is situated approx. 4 hour's drive from Bandipur. Ooty is known for its tea plantations and scenic views. You will check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the town on your own. Ooty is a great place to wander around; also visit Doddabetta Peak in the evening. Its highest peak is in the Nilgiri Hills and offers a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. You will return to your hotel for an incredible dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day by visiting the Ooty tea factory to sip some of the most delicious teas in the world! Then visit the tea museum nearby, where you can learn about the history and process of tea production in the Nilgiris. Later, head to Ooty Lake, a popular spot for boating, picnics, and photography. Enjoy a picturesque boat ride on the lake and enjoy the serene surroundings. After the boat ride, explore the nearby market for local handicrafts and souvenirs. Today, you will travel to Coimbatore, also known as Kovai, which is situated approx. 4 hour's drive from Ooty. Coimbatore is known for its rich history and beautiful temples. You will visit some famous temples and other historic sites in the city, such as the Arulmigu Patteeswarar Swamy Temple and the Gass Forest Museum. The Arulmigu Patteeswarar Swamy Temple is one of Coimbatore's most famous and ancient temples; it is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has beautiful architecture and intricate carvings. The Gass Forest Museum is a great place to learn about the history and culture of the region. After a full day of sightseeing, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. You will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
