ALERT!!! If you are planning for a vacation, at this point in time, it's quite important that you check with the countries that have tested positive cases of Coronavirus infections. 

 

The first case of Coronavirus was registered in China and it is spreading rapidly in the absence of proper medication. Originating in some seafood market in the Wuhan district of China, many cases of coronavirus infection have been registered around the world. 

 

While many countries have already issued Travel Alert (to China), there are 80 and more countries that are at risk and are not safe to travel. 

 

More than 90,500 people have been found to be infected and 3000 plus people have died of coronavirus infection around the world. 

 

Around 3000 plus cases have been reported in Europe, the Middle East, North America & the Asia-Pacific regions. 

 

Keep yourself informed on the coronavirus infection updates around the world. Here are countries that have confirmed cases of Coronavirus and where you should NOT or plan a vacation very CAUTIOUSLY.

 

Asia 

1.China

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 80,490

Total Death from Coronavirus: 3,045

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 52,208

 

The number of cases in China, as per the latest reports has risen to 80,490. It counts the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infections. Most of these cases have been registered across & around Wuhan, the place where it all began. 

 

A total of 3,045 people have died because of the infection. The popular city of Macau, which is a hub for travelers has registered 10 death cases due to Coronavirus infection. And, there have been a total of 42 death cases in Hong Kong.

 

With this escalating threat,  due to coronavirus infection, it is not quite a good idea to plan China vacation packages. 

 

2.Cambodia

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 1

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 1

 

It was the first case of coronavirus in Cambodia.  The patient was a 60-years old person, Chinese national living in Sihanoukville, a coastal city.

 

3.Vietnam 

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 16

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 16

 

Out of 16 cases, 10 were from the northern province of Vinh Phuc. The last patient found to be affected by the condition was a five-years baby. 

 

4.Thailand

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 51

Total Death from Coronavirus: 1

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 31

 

The last person to have diagnosed with the condition was a 54-years old Chinese woman. She was quarantined after she came to contact with another infected person. It was the 33rd case of coronavirus. 

 

5.Taiwan

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 42

Total Death from Coronavirus: 1

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 12

 

The last case registered in Taiwan was that of a young woman in her 20s. She did not show any symptoms of the infection. With this, it became the 18th case of Coronavirus in Taiwan. And, since then the cases of coronavirus have been escalating. 

 

6.Sri Lanka

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 1

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 1

 

Till now a total of one case has been registered in Sri Lanka. It was a 43 years old tourist from the Hubei province of China who has come to Sri Lanka as a tourist. 

 

7.India

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 29

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 3

 

A total of twenty-nine cases have been registered in India including Southern state Kerala, Delhi, and other parts of the country. If you are planning to travel to India in the days to come, just make sure that you are safe. The best way to avoid getting caught up is avoiding India vacation or in case you really can’t do follow the precautionary measures strictly. 

 

8.South Korea

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 5911

Total Death from Coronavirus: 35

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 88

 

In total, 5911 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in South Korea, including three recent cases. The first three cases included a 37-years old woman from Wuhan, a 73-year old woman, and a 51-year old man from South Korea. 

 

9.Singapore

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 112

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 79

 

Since the 45th case of a person who was in the evacuating flight from China, the cases of coronavirus has been rising unprecedentedly and has risen to 112. Also, a number of cases of human to human transfer of the virus have been registered. 

 

10.The Philippines

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 3

Total Death from Coronavirus: 1

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 2

 

The first death of coronavirus outside China was registered in the Philippines. 

 

11.Nepal 

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 1

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 1

 

One case of coronavirus in Nepal was registered. The infected person was 32-years old who was initially quarantined. 

 

12.Japan

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 331

Total Death from Coronavirus: 6

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 43

 

Japan seems to be a highly vulnerable state with a total of 331 cases of coronavirus to date. However, these are the people on the quarantined Diamond Princess cruise ship docked at Yokohama. 

 

As per the guidelines of WHO, Japan does not count people on board. And, therefore  numbers can vary. 

 

No matter what, if you are still thinking of booking Japan vacation packages, make sure that you take precautions and follow instructions. 

 

13.Malaysia

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 50

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 22

 

The eighteenth case registered in Malaysia was of a man who had returned from a visit to the Chinese mainland. And, since then the numbers have been escalating reaching t0 50. Most cases are of Chinese nationals, however, as many as other cases of Malaysians have also been registered.

 

Middle East

 

1.The United Arab Emirates

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 28

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 5

 

The last person who was tested positive for coronavirus infection was an Indian national. He developed the condition after coming in contact with a person who was recently diagnosed with the same. 

 

UAE is the only country to have registered the case of coronavirus in the Middle East. 

 

Europe

 

1.Belgium 

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 23

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 1

 

Of all the people who have been repatriated from Wuhan, 23 positive cases of coronavirus were registered in Belgium.

2.The United Kingdom

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 87

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 8

 

A total of eighty-seven cases have been registered in the UK with all cases happening in England. The first case uncovered on the 31st of January and the last was on the 10th of February.

 

3.Sweden

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 52

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 1

 

It was the first case of coronavirus in Sweden that was detected in a woman. She has returned from a trip to Wuhan. However, doctors have confirmed that she is not gravely ill.

 

4.Russia 

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 3

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 2

 

Three of the cases of coronavirus registered in Russia were of the Chinese nationals. Three of these cases were registered on the 31st of January.

 

5.Italy 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 3,089

Total Death from Coronavirus: 107

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 276

 

Since the first case of the coronavirus came from the 56 Italians who were repatriated from Wuhan, it has been escalating exponentially and the numbers have reached 3,089. 

 

In fact, people who are returning from Italy vacations have also been found to be affected by Coronavirus. Two such cases of coronavirus have been found in India. 

 

6.Spain

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 228

Total Death from Coronavirus: 2

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 2

 

The first case of coronavirus in Spain was of a man on the island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands. To date, it has risen to 228 with two deaths registered.

 

North America

 

1.Canada

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 34

Total Death from Coronavirus: 0

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 7

 

A total of 34 cases has been registered in Canada to date. But, thankfully there are no deaths of the COVID-19.

 

Four of the registered cases of coronavirus in Canada were from British Columbia and three of them from Ontario. 

 

2.The United States - 13

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 162

Total Death from Coronavirus: 11

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 9

 

The total number of coronavirus cases in the US became 162. Also, 11 deaths from coronavirus infection have also been registered. 

 

South Pacific

 

1.Australia

 

Total cases of Coronavirus: 52

Total Death from Coronavirus: 2

Total recovered cases of Coronavirus: 21

 

Most of the cases in Australia were of the people who have returned back from the Wuhan district of Hubei province. To date, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has risen to 52 with two deaths.
