Welcome to the country’s capital, which is famous as a double-headed eagle. After check-in, you can start exploring the city center of Tirana on foot. The Skanderbeg Square is the top attraction and the center point of the city, it is a feasible move to start your Albania tour from here. While walking to the Skanderbeg Square, you can grab some traditional and delicious bites from the street. Upon your arrival at the square, you can take some pictures of the clock tower, and the Skanderbeg statue and from there you can walk to the mosque that is in front of it. Afterward, you can head to the south towards Park Rinia to check out the fountains (loved by locals) and cross the road diagonally to the notorious Pyramid. There are some more attractions that can grab your eyeballs, so explore the Tiara city to get some picturesque moments captured on your camera roll. On a two day tour, you can easily explore the top attractions in the city.
You can kick-start your day with a nearby Mount Dajti tour, which is a cable cart that takes 15 minutes to get to you the top of it. If you don’t want to hop on the cable cart, you can visit the National History Museum to discover the valuables. Minibusses and buses are quite affordable to reach to Durrës from the Karl Topia Square at the Tirana Ring Center. Once you are in Durrës, you can start exploring the seafront along the promenade and old ruins in the city center. Balkan’s largest amphitheater is something that you shouldn’t miss on.
On the fifth day of the tour, you can take a bus from a small hidden coach park in the west of the city. Upon arrival, you can explore the castle and try to spot a mountain in the middle of the city. Once you have explored the Berat city, it is time to explore Sarandë to check out the Albanian Riviera. After 7-hour long journey, you will reach to Sarandë from there, you can go to Ksamil to find some of Europe’s best beaches.
To leave Sarandë early in the morning, you have to arrive back in Tirana in the evening. So after a night-stay and take the last drink in Blloku and get ready for at least 8-hour long journey.
