A 9-Day Luxury Tour Of Kenya's Mystical Attractions

Day 1: Welcome to Kenya

Meet your private guide at Nairobi airport, who will transfer you to your hotel. Set off with your guide on an introductory tour of the city. The capital city of Nairobi is the largest in the nation. It has been named to refer to the Nairobi river, which flows through the middle of the city. The location has a population of more than five million people in the metropolitan area, also called the Green City in the Sun. Day 2: Magnificent Samburu Reserve

Today, travel to the north of Kenya from the capital city through the gorgeous central highlands to reach Samburu Reserve. There will be a halt where you can soak in some of the stunning natural landscapes while sipping on a hot cup of coffee. Take a peek at some of the pineapple farms that are present there. Then, halt at the foot of the mighty Mount Kenya, which stands high above sea level. Mingle with the local ethnic people, known as the Kikuyu tribe.
 

Learn that agriculturalists use the highly fertile volcanic soil on the lower slopes. Find out their legend that their God lived on Mount Kenya from where he came down from the sky. They believe that the father of the tribe met up with God in that location. Drive further to the northwest, which includes a halt at the closing line of the equator. At this point, experiment with water and the various ways it moves in both hemispheres. Learn that the local people believe standing still in the middle of the equator for an hour aligns the spinal cord and cures many back problems.

Day 3: Lofty Mount Kenya

This morning, leave to reach the stunning Mount Kenya. The forest enveloping this popular mountain gives great viewing experiences of some exotic bird species. Some species that live in the forests include the Cape Eagle Owl, African Grass Owl, the Crowned Eagle, Hunter's Cisticola, Jackson's Francolin, Abbots Starling, Jackson's Widowbird, the Lesser Kestrel, and many more. Reach the foot of the mountains in the late afternoon. After settling in and setting up your base, you can start your exploration of the nearby forests and also go for some lovely bird-watching on foot.

Day 4: Flight to Mombasa

Today, leave Masai Mara in the morning and catch a flight to Mombasa, a gorgeous coast in Kenya. The flight departs from the park and gives great views of the Serengeti Park and the Masai Mara in the air. Arrive in scenic Mombasa, also called the blue and white city of Kenya, and be transferred to your hotel by your guide. Then, set out to enjoy and relax at the beautiful beaches.

Day 5: Relaxing Diani Beach

Today, enjoy a whole day learning about the stunning location of Diani Beach, where you can relax at your own pace. There are a lot of activities that are water related that you can choose. There are also a lot of eateries to try and various sights to view. You can also enjoy a silent day soaking up the Sun. Try to take a serene dip in the pristine blue waters.

Day 6: Camping at Diani Beach

Today, start your morning with a serene walk on the beach. Then, set up your camp for the day and take full benefit of the stretches of the white-sand beach and the pristine shallows interspersed with sandbars. Afterward, enjoy a snorkel or dip into viewing some of the stunning underwater life, including spotting some exotic wild dolphins. For the people who are feeling a little more adventurous, you can enjoy scuba diving, going on a jet ski, or enjoying some kitesurfing.

Day 7: Ancient Swahili Relics

Today, explore Kaya Kinodo, a forest that is revered by the local Digo people. It is the only sacred forest here that is open to visitors. Relish a guided stroll through the tiny grove. Step over many chunks of tangled roots and ancient corals as you learn more about the medicinal plants present here and an ancient tree that takes away your worries and fears. Then, the Kongo Mosque in the north was founded in the medieval period. Learn that this is the last surviving relic of the ancient Swahili civilizations in Diani, which used to control the entire coast. Enjoy a lovely snack on the lush green grass surrounded by baobab trees that are located here.

Day 8: Colobus Conservation Center

Today, enjoy a trip to the Colobus Conservation Center to look at the orphaned or injured colobus, vervet, and Sykes' monkeys who are getting rehabilitated here. The center safeguards the Angolan white and black colobus monkey since the entire species is in decline. You can spot them crossing the road on some rope ladders that were set up by the center's staff to aid in rehabilitating the monkeys. Take a stroll around the center and learn more about their environment.

Day 9: Departure

Today, your private guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure.
