Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tour of Southern Bali and Uluwatu

Upon your arrival at the Bali airport, you’ll meet your tour representative who will help you with the 5-days Bali tour. As you drive through the city, you’ll witness giant statues of Bheema and Ghatotkacha, famous heroes of Mahabharata who are deemed as the protectors of the island. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant. Afterward, make your way to Mandala Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), a cultural park which is based on the Bukit Badung and is situated at the southern tip of the island. Limestone plateau of Bukit is devoted to the Hindu God Vishnu and his companion Garuda. Here you’ll witness 23 m high statue of God riding the bird. It is well-known as the world’s highest statue.

Thereafter, continue your journey to Padang and Padang Suluban Beach or the Blue Point and treat your eyes to the gorgeous scenery of coral cliffs. You can also indulge in many interesting activities here such as making white sand castles, playing beach volleyball, and much more. Your next visit is going to be Pura Uluwatu or Uluwatu temple, which is one of the 8 prime temples of Bali. The temple is formed on a 70-m high cliff. You can relish amazing sunset views here. After all the sightseeing, check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Locally known as Pura Luhur Uluwatu, Uluwatu temple is one of Bali’s most splendid ones in the entire island, situated on top of a steep cliff about 70 meters above sea level. The temple possess a distinctive architecture with palm-frond black roof arranged into the black. The most fascinating thing about the temple is its amazing prime location, primarily between heaven and earth. Offering it a striking beauty, the virtual maze, bouncing between the floors clouds overhead and the waves swathing against the cliffs at the foot of white foam. The name Luhur signifies ‘something of divine origin’ and ulu means ‘land’s end’ and watu indicate ‘the rock’. The name itself appropriately conveys what the special temple is all about. It is certainly one of the island’s top places to go for sunset delights, with views directly overlooking the gorgeous ocean and regular Kecak dance performances. Ancient sculptures, traditionally-designed gateways, and Balinese architecture add to the appeal of the temple. Most visitors relish the view of this beautiful temple from two different vantage points, from both southern and northern part of the area.

Day 2: Cultural Tour of Barong Kintamani

Today morning, after breakfast, make your way to explore Batu Bulan village, where the stone carvers of the island reside. While riding on Denpasar road, you can witness sandstone statues of demons and gods embellishing the temples and the houses. Attend Barong and Keris Dance, a famous theatrical dance performance. Venturing further, you can witness another art village which is famous for its gold, silver and wooden artifacts. Relish lunch on the way. Later, make your way to the villages of Kintamani and Penelokan that offer views of Mount Batur and its tranquil lake.

On taking the road from Penelokan to Kediasan, you will reach the shore of the lake. Here, you can rent a boat to Trunyan so as to visit the renowned Tampak Siring Pura Tirta Empul temple, famous for being Lord Indra’s abode. You can purchase astonishing ivory and bone carvings in the local market of Tampak. Afterward, explore Goa Gajah or Elephant cave, that dates back to the 11th century, and was originally a cave. Return back to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Bedugul and Tanah Lot Tour

Today, after breakfast, you’ll continue sightseeing. Your first visit is going to be the Botanical Garden on Bedugul Bali Bedugul, which is a splendid rain tropical garden. Visit Ulun Danu temple, which is situated in the middle of the lake and Bedugil resort, which is famous for its massive golf course. The place offers opportunities for boating, parasailing and water skiing. Relish delicious lunch at a restaurant in the village Pancung, which offer lovely views of rice terraces. Post lunch, leave for Tanah Lot. Surrounded by sea, this famous sea temple in Bali is situated on a giant rock and was built in the first half of the 16th century. It is one of the most significant landmarks of Bali, famous for its distinctive offshore setting and beautiful sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine situated on top of an outcrop amidst continuously crashing waves. Tanah Lot temple is truly among not-to-be-missed icons of Bali. The onshore site is lined with tiny shrines alongside tourists’ leisure facilities comprising shops, restaurants and a cultural park that present regular dance performances. The temple is situated in the Berban village of the Tabanan regency and is included on most tours to western and central regions of Bali.

Return back to the hotel for the overnight stay.  

Day 4: Besakih and Kertha Gosha Tour

This day begins with a visit to the popular Besakih Mother of Temple, reclining on the slant of Gunung Agung. Formed during the 8th century by Rsi Markandeya, a great priest, the temple witnessed several additions to its temple by other famous priests and residing rulers. The temple possess three divine thrones of Gods - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The major highlight of the day is Kertagosa court Justice, which was built during the 18th century. The prime highlight of this complex is its two buildings - Bale Kambang and Bale Kerta Gosa. Treat your senses to the unique paintings and striking architecture. Check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure

Today morning, after breakfast, the day will be at leisure. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
