Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi City & Water Puppet Show

This is the first day of this 3-Days Cheap Vietnam Tours! You will be waking up a little too earlier at around 8 am. And, after you are done with breakfast and everything, you can venture out for your trip. Your first stop is going to be the Old quarter and thereafter you will be heading towards

Thang Long Water Puppet. Here, you will be buying a ticket for the puppet show. On the way, don’t forget to enjoy some of the street food.

After, you have booked your tickets, head towards the Mausoleum. You can reach this place either by Hanoi city bus number 9 or you may take a taxi. After this, you will be visiting the Presidential Palace then Ba Dinh Square.

Other Best Places to Visit in Northern Vietnam Hanoi City: Ho Chi Minh Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda, Dien Huu Pagoda, and Ho Chi Minh Museum.

All of these places are located in the vicinity of each other. And, therefore, it’s very easy to travel them all together. After, you are done with all of them, enjoy your lunch, sampling some of the delicious local cuisines of Vietnam. After lunch stroll around and return back to your hotel to get ready to experience the nightlife.

After you are done with dinner, get ready to enjoy the Vietnam puppet show. This art in the form of water puppet show was discovered in the 10th century. In the show, puppeteers would stand in the water behind the screen using long bamboo to control the puppets. It’s interesting!!

Day 2: Ha Long Bay

Most people think that Ha Long Bay is just a bunch of stones that were thrown away from Hanoi sometimes back. But, that’s not actually true! It takes 3 hours to travel from Hanoi to Halong Bay.

On your trip, you will be enjoying a cruise through stunning Ha Long Bay, Seafood lunch, Visit fishing village, 45-minute kayaking around Halong Bay, and a visit to the majestic Thien Cung Cave. You will understand after seeing, why this is called the best cave ever.

At around 8:30, you will be picked up from your hotel room and will be departed for Halong Bay. Then you will be arriving at the Tuan Chau Harbor, boarding the Alova Day Cruise and enjoy cruising along the bay.

At night, you will be enjoying dinner at one of the restaurants. These restaurants offer delicious Vietnamese dishes and they are most famous for locusts and fried cricket.  

Day 3: Ninh Binh City - Hua Lu and Tam Coc

Hua Lu and Tam Coc are located in Ninh Binh City. It takes two and a half hour to reach this place from Hanoi. This is the third and the last day of this 3-Days Cheap Vietnam tours. You will be starting it off a little earlier at around 8 am. Your personal guide will pick you up from the hotel and will be taking you on a drive to Ninh Binh Province. Around 10 am, you will be arriving at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and will start exploring King Dinh and King Le’s temples. After that, its time to move on towards Tam Coc Wharf and enjoy a buffet lunch of Vietnamese cuisines. Then through the caves, you will be boarding the Sampan boats and enjoying the countryside landscape. Then come back to the Coc Wharf and enjoy some biking on the countryside road. It’s all about your last day in Vietnam!
