Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Edinburgh

Your Scotland journey begins today as you land at Edinburgh Airport. Meet your private guide at the airport, who will transfer you to a centrally located hotel. Your guide will take you out this afternoon to explore Edinburgh Castle and get acquainted with the beautiful city.

Day 2: Exploring The City of Edinburgh

Today youll meet a local food guide for a private walking tour. Sample various local favorites while hearing interesting anecdotes about the people behind them. Later in the evening, attend a traditional music and dance show accompanied by a 4-course Scottish meal.

Day 3: Visiting Methven

This morning, youll be driven north to Perth to visit the Black Watch Castle Museum. Enjoy a private tour of this fascinating museum, which features the stories and history of the infamous Black Watch Highlanders' regiment. You'll spend the night in a castle just outside Perth.

Day 4: One Day Tour of Grantown-on-Spey

Today, continue your journey north to explore the Rothiemurchus Estate, situated in the heart of the Cairngorms. Embark on a private bike trek with a local guide in the morning. Later make your way to a working farm for a sheepdog experience.

Day 5: Heading to Barcaldine

Make your way west today to Loch Ness to embark on a private luxury cruise of the renowned Loch, which includes entry to the atmospheric Urquhart Castle. Head west towards the coast and spend todays night on a private island, situated approximately half an hour from the vibrant port town of Oban.

Day 6: A Day Tour of Barcaldine

Today, board a private wildlife cruise departing from a tiny village on the coast just outside Oban. In the sea, look for whales, dolphins, porpoise, otters, and seals, and on the tiny islands you pass you may see deer and goats.

Day 7: Venturing to Bridgend, Islay

This morning, youll be driven through the prehistoric remains of Kilmartin Glen on your way south to board the ferry across to Islay. The ferry takes around 2 hours. Upon landing on Islay, it'll be a short drive to your family-friendly hotel.

Day 8: Exploring Bridgend, Islay

Today, get ready to head out into the ocean on a private boat trip accompanied by a local guide, who'll take you along the coast to witness seal colonies, otters, and dolphins. Along the cruise, you'll plunge in and out of sheltered bays and see the coastline from different viewpoints. Later in the afternoon, make your way to the American monument on the Oa Peninsula.

Day 9: Towards Loch Lomond

Youll leave Islay today and take the ferry back to the mainland. Afterward, your private guide will drive you to Loch Lomond. Later in the afternoon, embark on a speedboat ride around the islands towards the south end of the loch. Your hotel is located on the shores of the loch, overlooking the azure water.

Day 10: Another Day in Loch Lomond

Spend the day at the magnificent Highland scenery from the unique perspective of the water on a guided kayak tour as you explore Loch Lomond.

Day 11: Departure Back Home

Bid goodbye to Scotland as you are driven to Glasgow airport to catch your onward flight back home.
