Day 1: Yerevan Welcome to Armenia

Today, you will be arriving in Armenia! At the Airport, you will meet your driver who will be taking you to your hotel. After checking in your hotel, you will catch up with some rest and reset yourself for your trip to the city!

Day 2: Yerevan - Sightseeing

You will start sightseeing in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia! Yerevan is considered as the one of the oldest of all the cities that exist in the World. It's sometimes called the Pink City and charms visitors with its wonderful landscape.

You will first be going to the Cascade Monument! This monument is the glaring symbol of the 2785th anniversary of the city. And, the site has the same number of stairs!

 

This gigantic staircase is around 50 meters wide and 500 meters high. From the top of this excellently built monument, you will get to see the beautiful swashbuckling view of Swan Lake, Opera House, Republic Square, Mount Ararat, and also Northern Avenue.

 

Next will be Matenadaran! This was built to commemorate Mesrop Mashtots who is believed to have founded the Armenian alphabet.

Matenadaran is the world's famous Institute of Ancient Manuscripts! It is known popularly for preserving more than 300,000 archive documents and medieval manuscripts.

Day 3: Yerevan Garni & Geghard & Etchmiadzin

You will be Departing from Yerevan and driving down towards Garni! This is one of the most popular villages in Armenia and is mostly known for its fortress. This is the only fortress that has survived the 4th-century introduction of Christianity.

After this, you will be visiting the monastery complex Geghard! Its beautiful landscape with towering cliffs is something must-witnessing thing on Armenia.

 

Here, you will get to see the artistic rock cuttings that are an absolute explanation of the Medieval Ages development in the region.

This complex came into existence in the 4th century! And, they were a sacred spring inside a cave.

Afterward, you will be visiting the Etchmiadzin. You will be visiting the Etchmiadzin Cathedral. This is the residence of the Armenian Apostolic Church head.

Day 4: Yerevan Khor Virap

Day 5: Areni & Tatev

Day 6: Yerevan Oshakan fortress

After, breakfast, you will be driving down with your guide to Oshakan. This is the place where the Father of Saint Mesrop Mashtots, the father of the Armenian alphabet was buried. Here, you will get to see a cathedral that has been named after the father of the Armenian alphabet. His grave was believed to have been rebuilt in 1875 by Catholicos George IV. After this, you will be returning back to your hotel room. And, before that choose one of the restaurants in the vicinity to enjoy your dinner coupled with some local dishes.

Day 7: Yerevan Amberd fortress

Day 8: Yerevan Departure

Then drive down to the Yerevan International Airport and enjoy your trip back home.
