Macedonia Albania Tour - 11 Days Itinerary

Day 1: Skopje

This is going to be the first day of your Macedonia Albania Tour Itinerary and you will be beginning the day from Skopje. It’s a great idea to spend part of your time in Macedonia. You will be landing here in Macedonia and your guide will be taking you to your hotel room.

Day 3: Lake Ohrid

Day 4: Lake Ohrid

Day 5: Tirana

This is the fifth day of your 11 Days Macedonia Albania Tour Itinerary. This day you will be traveling from Lake Ohrid to Tirana. The best way is to take the direct route! It will cost you around 14 USD or 75 Denar. The bus will be leaving from the center square. It is going to take you around 3.5 hours, so make sure to start your journey a little earlier in the morning, so that you could reach earlier. After reaching here, you will know that Tiana, the capital of Albania is a beautiful city. You will be in Tirana, this day exploring around! Enjoy your dinner in the Salt sushi restaurant.

Day 6: Tirana to Shkoder

After you are done with your exploration of Tirana city, you will be taking your bus for Shkoder. You will have to explore a little, from where you are going to get your bus. It is going to take you around 2 hours to reach Shkoder from Tirana.

Day 7: Shkoder

This part of the Macedonia Albania Tour Itinerary will be spent in Shkoder completely. You can rent a bike to wander around the city and along the side of the lake. You will also get to enjoy here some good food. Then you will be walking through the Old Town and will be enjoying some drinks. Day 8: Theth

Today, you will be taking a trip into the beautiful Mountains of the town, and enjoying a 12-mile hiking trip to the Blue Eye.

Day 10: Theth

This is the tenth day of your Macedonia Albania tour! Today, you are going to hike the Valbona Peak. It’s also a 12 miles trek. But, this one is a little tougher than the Blue Eye, you will have to go way more uphill hiking. But, the unbelievable view of the Albanian Alps will leave you spellbound.

Day 11: Departure

This is the last part of this incredibly pleasant Albania and Macedonia Itinerary. If you have more time, you can customize this trip accordingly and visit some more places. Fromm Theth, you can travel back to Shkoder and travel along the borders of Montenegro. Alternatively, you can travel back to Tirana and catch up your flight for the next destination.
