Exploring Wonderful Austria With This 9-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Vienna

Arrive in Vienna and get a private transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city. Visit iconic landmarks such as the Vienna State Opera, the Burg Theater, and Vienna's Dazzling Church. Enjoy a traditional Viennese dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Day 2: Day trip to Salzburg

Day 4: Drive to Innsbruck and the Tyrol

Your private guide will drive you two hours to Innsbruck. Spend the day exploring the city and the surrounding Tyrol region. Visit the Golden Roof, the Innsbruck Cathedral, and the Tyrolean State Museum. In the afternoon, take a cable car ride up to the Nordkette mountain range for panoramic views of the city and the surrounding Alps.

Day 5: Journey to Mondsee

After breakfast, your private guide will drive you two hours to Mondsee. Explore the beautiful lake district. Take a boat ride on the Mondsee lake and visit St. Michael's Church, which was used as a filming location in the movie "The Sound of Music." In the afternoon, visit the nearby town of St. Gilgen, take a leisurely walk along the lake, and enjoy water sports and sailing. Day 6: Moving to St. Gilgen

Day 7: Drive to Hallstatt

Drive to the picturesque town of Hallstatt, located on the shores of Lake Hallstatt. Spend the day exploring the town's narrow streets and visiting its many cultural and historical landmarks, including the Hallstatt Salt Mines and the Beinhaus (Bone House). In the evening, enjoy a traditional Austrian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Return to Vienna

Get a private transfer back to Vienna. Visit the Belvedere Palace, home to the most extensive collection of Gustav Klimt paintings worldwide. Head to the Prater amusement park in the city's second district for fun and excitement. Take a ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel for breathtaking city views. Day 9: Departure
