Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Budapest

Meet your private guide at Budapest airport, who will transfer you to your hotel. Set off with your guide on an introductory tour of the city called the "Little Paris of Middle Europe." Visit the Central Market Hall, the city's largest and oldest indoor market. Choose among a wide array of excellent souvenir stalls, sweet candies, spirits, sweets, spices, meat delicacies, and freshly brewed wines and liquors. Explore the basement for some pickled goods, a fish market, and butcher shops. Wind up your day by trying out the mouth-watering local specialties that include delicacies such as deep-fried lngos flatbread.

Day 2: Discover Vaci Street

Today, stroll down the main street in Budapest called Vaci Street. Discover the incredible number of cafes, restaurants, shops, and local galleries that stock authentic Hungarian products.Find royal porcelain at Herend Porcelain Hadik Shop, founded in 1826. It has enjoyed much popularity among aristocrats and monarchs, including Queen Victoria. Feel the artistry of the  delicate hand-painted pieces that are numbered and signed.

Day 3: Historical St. Stephen's Basilica

Visit the prominent Hungarian landmark St. Stephen's Basilica, which is famous for its Neo-Renaissance-style dome, t and the Greek Cross floor plan. View the bell towers and structure of the basilica from the square in front of its main entrance. Explore the church's interior and take the elevator or the stairs to reach the top of the dome to get an overview of the entire city.

Day 4: Explore the House of Terror Museum

Discover the dark side of Hungarian history at the House of Terror Museum. This specialty museum focuses on fascist and communist regimes of the past. exhibits feature artifacts from the communist AVH, the fascist Arrow Cross Party, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany. Walk around the place and get sucked into the depths of dictatorial moments in the 20th century. 

Day 5: Enjoy Thermal Spas

Destress yourself through a full day of bathing at one of Budapests famous thermal spas. These spas have long been an essential part of Hungarian culture. Have a relaxing massage with essential oils and a dip in the waters of the thermal baths in the city. 

Day 6: Budapest To Eger

Today, your guide will drive you to Eger in a private vehicle and transfer you to your resort. Then, take a short trip to the city's center to one of the prime-wine-making regions of Hungary. Look at the valleys covered with vineyards and many wine cellars, and small wineries. Taste some of the best red and white wines produced in this valley.

Day 7: View the Torok Kori Minaret

Today, wonder at the 17th-century Torok Kori Minaret, a tall structure that dominates the skyline of Eger. Capture the unbeatable views of the city center from the top of the minaret. Take another look at the minaret from Eger's famous castle. Following that, enjoy a lavish dinner at one of the most premium restaurants in Hungary before retiring to your resort for the night.

 

Day 8: Departure

Today, your private guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure.
