The first day of your trip can be spent by exploring Kotor and areas in its vicinity that include Perast, Perast, Kotor and the Lady of Rocks. And, if you have come all the way from Croatia then Herceg Novi will be the perfect place for you to get your breakfast or lunch. So, help you taste buds a little before starting off with your drive towards the Bay of Kotor. Herceg Novi is situated near to the mouth of the Bay of Kotor. Though, it’s a small town and there are only a few small sites to visit and that makes it a quick step, but you will get to discover a lot of things here and it will be worth visiting. You can amble through this charming Old Tow, walk uphill the Kanli-Kula which will give the best view of the town, and see the clock tower. Over a few years, this walled city has become a must visit stop for road trippers and cruise ships along the Adriatic coast. You can also spend the entire afternoon by having beer in the Square, getting lost in its alleyways, shopping and touring the churches. Your second day of the Montenegro trip is going to be a busy day and you will need to start it off a little earlier. Begin with making a scenic drive to the Bay of Kotor and right after head towards the South for climbing and winding roads that will take you to the mountains behind the Kotor. After several twists and turns you will get to experience the picturesque view of the Bay of Kotor. You can then continue climbing towards Lovcen National Park. The Mount Lovcen are believed to be the highest peaks in the vicinity and the galore of picturesque view from there are amazing. And, especially you are lucky enough to witness clear weather. Cetinje is located to the East of Mount Lovcen and you can drive your way out. It is the former capital of Montenegro. On the 3rd day of your trip you can plan to see Skadar National Park, Sveti Stefan and Budva. Skadar National Park is 45 km away from Mount Lovcen and you will need to start it off a little earlier in the morning. If you want to see the wetlands of Montenegro and take a different path. Lake Skadar is also called as Lake Shkodra or Lake Scutari and located at the border of Montenegro and Albania, it’s found to be the biggest lake in the Southern Europe. And, you need to see Sveti Stefan, which is the walled town in Montenegro. Then you can head for the party town of Budva which 15 minutes is away from Sveti Stefan and Milocer Beach. This breathtakingly beautiful place is located on the coast and you can have a very enthralling afternoon here. Then you can hang out at one of the nightclubs situated near the place.
