Days 1-2: Bucharest - The palace of Parliament

It’s great that the city has its own airport! You can take your flight or there is also the choice of train or bus, convenient for those who are travelling from the neighboring country. Bucharest is the commercial center and capital of Romania and is situated in its Southern part. Its’ worth investing two days here. There’s an upper old Town and the lower one. In the upper town, you will get to see the most historic sights, while the lower town has known for its picturesque scenes. Also, the Citadel area must be visited, you must not forget to climb the Tower of Stairs.

Day 5: Transylvania: Sighisoara

Sighisoara is among the UNESCO world heritage site and this fortified city is known for being the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. Like the city of Sibiu, Sighisoara also looks beautiful and decorated with vibrant houses and cobblestone streets. And, you will be amazed to know that this city is where most of the attractions of Romania exist. Some of the must visit places of the city include the museum of history also known as the clock tower. If you want to bask into the panoramic view of the city, you can climb to the top of the clock tower. Make sure that you have checked on the Scholar’s Stairs and other towers which will take you to the church on the hill. Beneath the church, there’s a crypt that you can check out. There’s also the house where Vlad the Impaler was born, so you can see that.
