Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Thingvellir National Park
Arriving in Iceland, the first destination of the day would be Thingvellir National Park. Reach here by 11 AM and spend the best time exploring the beauty of the place. From here, you could continue towards the Geysir Area to have some snacks and lunch. Spend the afternoon time exploring places like Iceland’s waterfalls especially the Golden waterfall – Gullfoss and then, the Geothermal pools of Iceland – Secret Lagoon. Covering all such places could easily end your day.
Day 2: Skogafoss waterfall
The premier destination of day 2 would be the Skogafoss waterfall which is one of the most iconic landmarks of the country. From here, continue towards the Solheimajokull glacier to have a perfect glacier hiking. Spending half of the day here in these destinations, move towards the Vatnajökull Glacier Blue Ice Cave Tour to see the beauty of Ice Caves. End your day visiting the Skogar museum. This museum is separated into 3 parts folk museum, turf houses, and transport museum.
Day 3: Diamond beach
The only worth going to Iceland is visiting the Diamond Beach which is nearest to Jokulsarlon. The place’s cold temperature and the blowing winds transform the complete coastline into the stunning winter wonderland. Lead yourself towards the Skaftafell National Park to enjoy its hiking trails and Svartifoss waterfall.
Day 4: Fjadrargljufur Canyon
Begin the day with an iconic landmark i.e. Fjadrargljufur Canyon whose pleasant walk could serve you with the majestic canyon. From here move towards the Eldgjarhraun which is the world's largest lava flows with the dimensions of some 700km2. Continue your journey towards the Reykjavik visiting Dyrholaey Jervis Lighthouse and gather the memories at Kirkjufjara via a coastal walk. End your day visiting the Seljalandsfoss waterfall in the late evening. The special beauty and reason to visit the place is its frozen water that attracts tourists with its shine and attraction.
Day 5: Goodbye & Farewell
