This 6-day tour will begin in the capital city of Dublin. From there, your tour guide will take you to incredible destinations around the country where you can enjoy life to the fullest while learning about the local cultures and cuisines.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dublin and visit the local markets, historical places.

On the first day of the tour, land in Dublin; a city situated on the east coast of the River Liffey. In the arrivals hall, meet your Ireland tour guide for the private transfer to your hotel. 

In the afternoon, set off with your guide to explore Dublin. Historical sites include Dublin Castle which dates back to the 13th century, and St. Patricks Cathedral, founded in 1191. You can also visit the lyrical streets of Dublin where writers James Joyce and Oscar Wilde once roamed. End the tour with a drink at one of Dublins historic pubs.  

Day 2: Visit Galway and transfer to Limerick

In the morning, your guide will drive you towards the west coast and the beautiful city of Galway. It's where River Corrib meets the Atlantic Ocean and the confluence is extremely beautiful to see. Start the sightseeing at the Eyre Square which was built in the 18th Century and now serves as an important meeting point lined with shops and traditional pubs. Continue to the impressive stone Galway Cathedral, on the banks of River Corrib.  Later, visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. This area has been transformed into a history museum which displays Irish culture from the 18th and 19th centuries. Later, check in to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 3: Visiting Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Killarney

The old town of Limerick is known for its medieval era architecture such as St. Marys Cathedral and St. Johns Square. Check out the King Johns Castle built in the 13th-century along the River Shannon. Your guide will take you to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher for magnificent views of the coastline. After that, take a ferry ride across the Shannon Estuary to visit the coastal villages of Lahinch and Kilrush. Spend  the night at your hotel Killarney.

Day 4 : Killarney, Ring of Kerry

Today you will visit the scenic Ring of Kerry, a circular route along the verdant coast of the Iveragh Peninsula. Visit Daniel OConnells birthplace, Cahirciveen, a charming fishing village. Also visit Molls Gap and the Black Valley, known for being the last place in Ireland to get electricity. 

Day 5: Visit Blarney Castle, Youghal, and Waterford

Today you visit the famous Blarney Castle near Cork. In the afternoon, travel towards Waterford and en route stop at the seaport town of Youghal. This place was once the home to Sir Walter Raleigh, an iconic figure in the Elizabethan court. Spend the night in your hotel in Waterford.

Day 6: Visit Waterford, New Ross, and back to Dublin

The seaport of Waterford in Southern Ireland is also the oldest city in Ireland, dating back to its time as a Viking settlement in 914 AD. You can still see the ancient walled core that remains today. Learn about the centuries-old traditional fine glass crafting at the House of Waterford Crystal. Other important locations around the city include Reginalds Tower which has a fortification from 1003 AD, and the Waterford Museum of Treasures. The next destination is New Ross, the ancestral home of former US President, John F. Kennedy. 

By evening, you will be back in Dublin for your international departure flight.
