Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Rome, the Capital of Italy

On the first day of your trip to Italy, you will be arriving at Fiumicino Airport! And, this can be a little difficult day for you, because you need to adjust yourself with the change in time, and everything. You will be escorted by your personal guide to your luxurious hotel in Rome. In the evening you can visit a few of the sites and shopping complexes in the vicinity of your accommodation. And, it would be great, if you could go to bed a little earlier!

 

Day 2: Romance in Rome

When you will actually get started, you will realize, planning a trip to Italy was one of the best decisions of your life. There isn’t any dearth of sites to see in Rome and it’s tough to cover them all just in a day. But, of course, plan it out with a strategy that you could cover some of the well-known places like the Pantheon, the Colosseum, and touring the beautiful Vatican. Vatican City is the Roman Catholic Church’s headquarters! You will get to see here a treasure trove of architecture and art. Renaissance frescoes in the Raphael Rooms and “Laocoön and His Sons”, the Vatican Museum has many Roman Sculptures. After you have completed your travel target of the day, you can have your dinner in the neighborhood of Trastevere.

 

Day 3, 4 & 5:  Florence and Tuscany

It takes just around 1.5 hours to travel from Rome to Florence by train! So, if you leave a little early in the morning, you can spend a whole day in Florence. You have in all 3 days in Florence and Tuscany, and this is going to be one of the Best Italy Tours. It will take one complete day to tour around the entire city and explore all the sites. And, similarly, you will need one whole day to do enough sightseeing in Tuscany. Some of the most beautiful places to travel in Florence are Mercato Nuovo, San Miniato al Monte, Piazza Della Repubblica, Loggia dei Lanzi, Santa Croce Church, Palazzo Pitti, and many more. There is a lot to discover here, and you can plan half of your second day in Florence. Then in the evening, hire a driver to get to Tuscany! This way you could enjoy the panoramic beauty of the place. Spend a whole day here!

 

Day 6 & 7: Cinque Terre

You have already had great 5 days here and there is a lot to be discovered yet! This is really going to make you feel satisfied and planning a trip to Italy is going to be the best ever decisions. This is your sixth day in Italy, and early morning you could take a train from Florence to the Cinque Terre. It will take around 2-3 hours to reach Cinque Terre. And, if you want to visit Pisa, you can take a train that has a transfer to Pisa. And, on the way, you could take some time in Pisa before reaching Cinque Terre. There’s a magical charm in the beauty of Cinque Terre. This wonderful land is located along the Mediterranean coastline. If you like, you could spend a whole day hiking around the towns or you may take a train.

 

Day 8: Departure Day

This is your last day in Italy! Pack your bags home, and get ready to take your flight back home. If you have some extra time, you can continue your journey and travel further to see other places like Venice.
