Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires, the Capital City

The city of Buenos Aires knows how to dazzle locals as well as visitors. Upon your arrival at Ministro Pistarini International Airport, your private guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your luxury hotel. Soon you will find yourself in the heart of the blooming city, surrounded by alluring culture and historic architecture. The pink tinge of the presidential palace gleams brightly, enhancing the main square known as Plaza de Mayo.

The old colonial buildings you are going to see in Buenos Aires date back to the 16th-century and have long witnessed the city’s many of the important events, including the push for independence in the 19th-century. After you check-in and settle into the comforts of your hotel, your guide will take you on a private evening tour of the city. You walk along San Telmo, which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The colonial buildings and narrow cobblestone streets give way to art studios and fabulous galleries. You can also hear the rhythmic sounds of the tango emerging from a hidden parlor. The beauty of the city of Buenos Aires lies in its movement.

After spending an entire day in Buenos Aires, now it is time for you to continue your Argentina tour journey southwards. Today, you’ll be driven to an exciting place – Puerto Madryn, making a stopover in Bahia Blanca on your way. Situated on the east coast of Argentina, technically Puerto Madryn is still in the Patagonia region.

The city boasts plenty of amazing beaches, where you can stroll, hang out, relax and witness the main attraction of the place which is the appearance of Southern Right Whales visiting its bays. As Puerto Madryn is situated just next to the popular wildlife filled Valdes Peninsula, you can have an opportunity to roam amongst elephant seals and penguins and can even spot whales from the shores. Take a boat tour and learn about marine biology here in local museums and in the evening enjoy a great seafood dinner!
