A 5-Day Trip to the Green Coast of Brazil

Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro - Welcome to Brazil

Upon arrival in Rio De Janeiro, meet your guide, who will drive you from the airport to your luxurious hotel. The cozy ensuite rooms will revive you from the jet lag before you kick-start your journey. Casually walk around the city for the rest of the day. 

Day 2: A Day in Rio de Janeiro

Your private guide will set up a jeep ride for you to view exciting sites of Rio, like the statue of Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain. You will later make your way toward the botanical gardens. In the evening, derive peace from strolling along the fascinating beaches of Rio.

Day 3: Visiting Paraty - A treasure trove of culture and nature

Your guide will take you to the splendors of the colonial town, Paraty. Take up a group excursion into the moist Mata Atlantic forest. Visit several local waterfalls and then head out to learn how Brazils own version of Rum, Cachaca, is produced at a conventional distillery. 

Later, wander through the cobbled streets of Paraty, flanked by cultural delights and endearing stores and eateries. You may also opt for a boat ride to some deserted beaches.

Day 4: Spend some relaxing time at Ilha Grande

Set out with your guide to tour the car-free tropical island of Ilha Grande. Enjoy the captivating serenity of the spot, and go for a boat ride to the scenic Lopes Mendes beach.  
Start hiking through the Atlantic rainforest to explore the islands interior. You may opt for snorkeling at one of the many beaches. Return to your hotel. 

Day 5: International Departure

Today, head back to Rio de Janeiro to catch a home flight. Your guide will help ensure that you successfully complete your international departure.
