Day 1: Arrival at Havana

Day 2: Exploring the city of Havana

As you look out from the window of your room early morning, the sunlight that reflects off the Atlantic Oceans surface will greet you and fill you with excitement for the following days wonderful surprises! The entrance to Havana Bay is guarded by the stone structure of Castillo de Los Tres Reyes del Morro built in the 17th-century.

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and lead you for an introductory tour of the city of Havana. The most famous cigar factories of Havana exude a floral aroma different from the sea scent of the city. Your guide will give you details about everything related to cigar. In the afternoon, you can head to the Artisan Market and explore the handmade goods by the artists displayed over there for sale. Each artistic piece here captures the culture of the city in a timeless way.

After your market tour and an evening snack, you can hike to the former 19th-century Buenavista Coffee Plantation. A sip of freshly roasted and slow brewed coffee here will fill your heart with a delightful ecstasy.  Only a few things are better as compared to enjoying a quiet peaceful moment accompanied by a pristine view.

Day 3: Discovering Life at Varadero

Today you make your way to the outskirts of the city to the neighborhood of  San Francisco de Paula leaving Havana shores behind. The Finca Vigia home where Ernest Hemingway lived stands here for Lookout House, from 1939 until 1960. It gives you a sneak peek into the famous American authors life who wrote two award-winning books while he lived in Cuba.

In the afternoon, you head out to the town of Matanzas. The antique streets  inspiring the literary and musical heritage of Cuba have a new sheen and polish lending itself to the nickname, Athens of Cuba. You witness the cheerful and undefeated character of the Cuban culture here. Also get an opportunity to watch Danzon and rumba, two of the countrys most popular forms of dance.

Day 4: Basking in the Colonial City of Camaguey

Today, you have an early breakfast before making your way back to the airport for your flight to Camaguey. The city is situated in the center of the island between lush rural landscape and abundant coastal allure. The cobblestone streets twist around the preserved historical center, bending into a purposeful labyrinth that once protected the city from pirates.

Your guide will meet you at Camaguey Airport and escort you into the heart of the historic city. Plaza San Juan de Dios links the city to its colonial past.  Youll witness the buildings here encircling the square and having Mexican architectural elements. Day 5: Departure for Home
