Go on a full-day inner island Jeep safari through Papeetes dense rainforest. Indulge yourself in a grand view of the lush, rainforest-clad Punaruu Valley and the island's highest peaks: Orohena, Aorai, Tetufera, and Tampa. Stop at Mount Marau, the French fortress of the 19th century. Youll enter the Faaurumai Valley near Tahitis north coast to explore the three waterfalls in the almost impassable rainforest of Hutu and maple trees.
