Day 1: Arrival in London

Today your UK tour begins as you arrive in London. A private guide will be waiting at the airport to pick you up and escort you to your hotel. Your adventure in the world-famous city starts with a private vintage Mini Cooper tour that drives across the major sights of London. In this two hour tour, you will be shown iconic landmarks such as the Eye of London, Big Ben, and Tower Bridge, and also other lesser-known sites that may have your interest. Your guide will either leave you at your hotel or at a closeby attraction to explore at your own leisure. Later in the afternoon, you can explore the Churchill War Rooms at your own pace learning more about the famous world leader, who is considered by many to be England's greatest.

 

Day 2: Exploring London

This morning, get ready to witness two of London's most popular historical attractions. Your expert guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you on the London Underground to Westminster Abbey for a guided tour of its many memorials and relics. Afterward, head out to the Tower of London, which is the most famous castle of London, via a boat ride on the Thames River which separates the city. The cruise will offer you a grand perspective of the city's distinctive skyline.

 

Day 3: A Day of History Learning in London

Today, your private guide will take you on a full day tour of the attractions of Canterbury and Dover. As you reach in Canterbury, a local guide will accompany you on a walking tour through the city's cobbled ancient streets. Learn about the history and architecture of Canterbury as you wander beneath overhanging, timbered buildings. Later, make your way on to the National Trust White Cliffs of Dover with your guide. Enjoy splendid vistas across the cliffs before you return back to London.

 

Day 4: Exploring Royal Museums in London

Today morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to Greenwich by boat. On reaching, you can explore the Royal Museums including the Royal Observatory, the National Maritime Museum, and Cutty Sark.

 

Day 5: Heading to Oxford

Today, you'll wave goodbye to London and head out to the train station for a journey out west to the university town of Oxford. Your train ride will be a comfortable, calm journey offering you your first taste of the rolling hills of the English countryside. Upon your arrival at Oxford railway station, you'll make your way to your hotel. In the afternoon, you'll get ready for a guided tour accompanied by an Oxford University graduate. Your full of life guide will give you plenty of insight into what makes Oxford one of the most captivating as well as unique universities in the world, not to mention picturesque. This will also provide you with the chance to witness how the city has developed around the university, with many of its own architectural and artistic quirks.

 

Day 6: Another Day in Oxford

Your private guide will transport you today to the sprawling, charming Blenheim Palace, just a few hours drive out of the city. On entering the palace, you’ll be met by your guide for a tour of its grounds and artifacts, including a captivating exhibit on Winston Churchill, who was born here. The remaining of your day is at leisure in Oxford. You can hire a punter to row you down the river or shop along Queen Street.

 

Day 7: Visiting Liverpool

This morning, head out back to the train station to visit Liverpool, a journey which is going to take approximately 3 hours. On reaching Liverpool, head out to your hotel. After check-in, drop down your luggage at the hotel and embark on an evening ale trail visiting several pubs frequented by The Beatles. As you traverse between the pubs, your expert guide will entertain you with stories of the Fab Four's early beginnings in the city. The tour usually finishes at the historic Cavern Club, which you can enter to watch some live music.

 

Day 8: A City Tour of Liverpool

In the morning, your private guide will meet you at your hotel lobby for a full day tour of the city. Day 11: A Journey to Edinburgh

Your destination for today is Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, a train journey which will take you about two and a half hours north. The train will follow the shoreline towards the end of the journey as you proceed towards the city, offering great views of the seaside towns and villages. On reaching Edinburgh, head out to your hotel. After check-in at your hotel, explore the buzzing city at your own leisure or just relax!

 

Day 12: Tour of Edinburgh

Today, get ready for a walking tour of Edinburgh’s Old and New Town neighborhoods. Meander the cobbled streets of the captivating city as your guide narrates you the history and the secrets lying down the famed alleys and over and underpasses. Visit the charming seaside streets of St Andrews, one of the world’s most popular golf destinations, and the home to the cafe where Prince William met Kate. After wandering, shopping, and relishing a bite for lunch, you’ll make your way to the stately Scone Palace.
