Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Meet the African elephants at Kapama Southern Camp, Hoedspruit (near Kruger National Park)

When in Africa, you can not miss spotting the giants, the elephants. While places to spot elephants in Africa are many, but only Kampana Southern Camp gives you a chance to interact with the giants. At this place, you will not only marvel at the existence of such a giant creature but also get to interact with them leisurely. This would be the best thing to do in South Africa on a family vacation. Reach the camp on time, meet your guide and escort for a full day tour where you will meet and greet the wild African Elephants. Click pictures, offer them food and try to be as human as you can with these majestic wilds of Africa.

Day 2: The Penguin Colony at Boulder Beach

Penguins are cute yet quirky. You might have heard about penguins who reside in the icy land of Antarctica, but finding the same in the waters of African beach will definitely be a surprise to your senses. Plan a day at Boulder Beach which is a gorgeous beach and a home to many penguins. Here, since the beach is dominated by the penguins, you may call it a Penguin Colony beach. Try to get close to the penguins and they will run away out of fear. They are scared of human presence and hence tend to walk away if you approach them. The whole colony is picturesque and definitely instagrammable. So, do not miss to capture them in your pictures.

Day 3: Game drives around Kruger National Park

No African Safari is complete without an adventurous game drive and so will be yours. On day four of your African Safari, you will get to experience the adventures of game drive in the lush green forests of Kruger National Park. You can either opt a game drive that happens before the sun or at dusk. This way, you might be losing your little sleep, but later the drive will make you realize that it wasn't a bad deal. Spotting the animals in their natural habitat or just game driving closer to their habitat is a one-of-a-kind experience. At one side, a massive herd of 60 elephants – including a dozen babies – walking right in front of your vehicle will dazzle your eyes, on the other hand, a pride of lioness roaming freely in the park will rattle your nerve. Such encounters with the wilds are sure to give you moments of life.

Day 4: A visit to Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls is the world’s largest waterfall that adds tons of beauty to Zambia. You can explore the entire area either by foot or by a private helicopter ride that flies above the waterfall. We need not to mention how beautiful the backdrop would be for your Zambia Safari pictures. Walk along the walking track and follow the rumbling sound of the water. The way water falls from a sky-height on the river, it feels simply stunning. You will get mesmerized by the disappearance of water into the river when it touches the bottom. Return to your lodge for lunch and some outdoor activities.

Day 5: Departure

For 4 days you were in the lap of mother nature where you witnessed the wilderness in the wild along with your family. However, these moments of joy coupled with adventure won’t last for long. With the sunrise of day five of your African Safari, your trip will conclude. Today you will be saying Cheerios to the scenic beauty of this place. With lots of special memories in your heart, you will transfer to the airport for a happy return. Do not miss to enjoy your farewell breakfast in the hotel before the exit formalities.
