Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Saigon - Welcome to Vietnam

This is the first day of your Vietnam Trip 2019 and you will be landing at the Saigon airport. Here your driver will pick you up and take you to your luxurious hotel room. Today is the time for you to enjoy some leisurely time to roam around your hotel room and getting rid of the travel Jetlag.

You can venture out and interact with the locals who will tell you that Saigon is also known as Ho Chi Minh City. It is located in the Southern part of Vietnam, and this particular city is known for having been played a crucial role in the War of Vietnam. And, the French colonial landmarks are also famous here. This information will be important to Vietnam Travel Tips for your further trip

 

Day 2: Saigon - Exploring the City

It is advisable to start off a little earlier in the morning! After you have had your breakfast, start the exploration of the city around 8:30 am.

First, visit the War Crime Museum! This Museum will let you know the Vietnam War story. A whole lot of exhibitions of machinery, photographs, weapons and everything will narrate you the store in a peaceful way from the perspective of Vietnam. You will come to know the harsh realities of the war.  

After this, you will be moving toward the Thien Hau Temple. This beautifully decorated temple is one of the most well-known pagodas. The temple has been built to celebrate Thien Hau, who is believed to be the Goddess of the Sea.

Your Next stop is going to be China town! This place came into existence in the 18th century and has a huge number of restaurants, markets, stotes, and temples. Binh Tay market is a must visit the market in China Town, which is particularly a wholesale market. After this, you can enjoy your lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Day 3: Saigon - Exploration  Continues

This is the third day of your Vietnam Trip 2019, and also in Saigon! You will be up for starting your trip at around 8 am in the morning. Your personal guide will be taking you to the bus station to travel to My Tho. Around 10 am you will reach My Tho, where you will be boarding a boat to travel to Unicorn Island.

You will be amazed to notice the beauty on your way, along with the bank of the river. From the lovely fishermen, ports to natural creeks and quirky houses built half on water, half on land are really interesting.

Your next stop is going be the Bee farm! Here you will get a chance to sample a cup of coffee made with honey. And, you can enjoy the rural life of the Mekong Delta. After this, you will also cruise the canal with 2 long orchard sides and to the village where you will discover how coconut candies are made.

 

Day 4: Saigon - Cai Rang Floating Market

In the early morning, after breakfast and everything, you will be boarding a boat and will be traveling to reach Cai Rang floating market. In the entire Mekong Delta, this one is the biggest one. And, today you will also be enjoying a merchant boat. This boat arrives from  Can Tho City and it sells pineapples. After this, you will be visiting the rice paper and noodles factories. And, then the rice processing factory. You can then enjoy eating something in one of the restaurants. Time to get back to the  Ho Chi Minh city.


Day 5: Cu Chi Tunnels

This is the fifth-day for your Vietnam Tour 2019! In the morning, you will have your breakfast and then will be transferred to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This underground tunnel was built by the freedom fighters of Vietnam.

Your personal guide will tell you how it took around 25 years to build this tunnel, which is more like a city with hospitals, kitchen, living rooms, and command centers. This tunnel was built with the aim of hiding from the Americans and around 10000 people used to live here.

You will be shown a short video explaining you on how this tunnel was built. After that, you can explore the tunnel and read the various Mantras and American tank remains. Now is the time to go back to the Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 6: Hoian City Tour - My son Holy

In the morning at around 8 am, you will be moving towards My Son and it will take around an hour. And, while you are on the bus, you will get the perfect opportunity to take a lot of pictures. You will be reaching to the 16th century historical and your guide will take to a walk of My son. Here you will be taken back to the Champa civilization. And, after that, you can get some time to relax and enjoy, your cup of coffee.

After that, you can depart from My Son and move towards Hoi. You can first start by having lunch at Hoian. You will be taken to the Hoian Old Town by your guide. Hoi An was the trading center and here you will see a number of architectural structures of  Chinese Japanese, British, and Portuguese.

 

Day 7: Hue City - Hoian

This is the seventh day of your trip to Vietnam, you will be starting it off at around 8 am. You will be taken to Hue by a bus and the travel time is around 3-4 hours. After reaching Hue city, you will be visiting the Hue Citadel that will take around 90 minutes and half an hour visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda.

And, the remaining time, you can spend on sightseeing on a boat ride along the Perfume River. Here you will see the lovely fishing villages. And, the seeing the Sunset on the Perfume River. After this, travel back to the town!

 

Day 8: Hue - Phong Nha Cave or Paradise Cave

You will have to start off a little earlier at around 6:30 am. Your private transfer will be taking you to Phong Nha and to the Bang National Park. And, on the way, you will also get to see Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River. Your guide will tell you that will tell you that this is the place that bisects Vietnam into South and North part. You will enjoy cruising over the Son River to Phong Nha Cave.

Phong Nha Caves: The caves are situated on the limestone mountains near to the Ke Bang National Park and these are complex of 14 grottoes. These caves are 7,729 m long. During the 9th & 10th century, the Phong Nha Caves were used by Cham people as the Buddhist sanctuaries. 

 

Day 9: Hanoi -  Hue City Tour

You will be starting your journey at around 8:30 am in the morning. Today you will be visiting numerous places including Khai Dinh Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb, Kinh Van An Martial Art, Conical Hat making village and Incense making a village. In the afternoon you will be enjoying a buffet lunch. And, after lunch, you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight for Hanoi.

Day 10: Saigon - Departure

You will be taking your flight back home. This is going to be definitely an awesome trip and you will have a lot of memories to cherish afterward.
