This trip of 9-days and 8 nights will start from the capital city of the Czech Republic upon your arrival in Prague. You will then move to various places such as Vienna, Krems, Dürnstein, Weißenkirchen, Spitz while ending the trip in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. Day 1: Arrival at Prague Airport and exploring the city

The Austria vacation of 9 days and 8 nights start with your arrival in the beautiful city of Prague. You will descend in the beautiful airport and will be greeted by the tour agent and guide who would take you the pre-booked hotel. Depending upon the time of your arrival, you can decide whether to call it a day or to get out on the streets and explore them. if you arrive early in the day, get ahead with the plan of exploring this beautiful city which has everything to offer to its visitors. Prague has been nicknamed as ‘The city of a Hundred Spires’ and has hundreds of places where you can visit. It is known for its Old Town Square which is the heart of its historic core filled with colorful baroque architecture as well as Gothic churches. You can also find the famous medieval Astronomical Clock where you can find the animated hourly show. The city which was completed in the year 1402 has a lot to offer if you want to get into it.

If you arrive late, you can always go to understand the Czech passion for the beer and can get going on a beer tasting group which lasts for the entire night. You can visit the local pubs who serve freshly brewed beers as well as centuries-old wines as well. stay put for the night in the Czech luxury town of Prague.

Day 2: Transfer to Vienna through Eurorail

The second day is where you get into the beautiful city of Vienna by reaching to the rail terming and taking a EuroCity train. The fastest and most comfortable ways to get to Vienna is taking the Euro rail which takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes to reach there. One of the major reasons for taking the rail route is the route it takes. While there are very fewer stoppages, the train slows down to showcases some of the best sceneries in the world and you can take photos from the glass ceiling of the train as well. Once you arrive in Vienna, you can check into your pre-booked hotel and then hop out to explore the city.

Day 3: Exploring Vienna entirely

After having a light meal in your hotel, your tour guide will take you out to explore the city. There are around 150 destinations in the city which are of tourism importance but you will be taken to prominent destinations. The country has special connections with art legends Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud who have shaped the legacy of Vienna as well. The city houses some astounding palaces including the most famous one Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence. Apart from it, there are many Museums in the Museums Quartier district which shows contemporary displays works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, and other artists. In the evening, you will be transferred to another beautiful location named Krems where you can explore the place in the evening. This place has some fantastic local cafes who serve local delicacies as well.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Krems

Krems is one of the major cities in lower Austria. Hailed as the fifth largest city in Lower Austria, the city is situated nearly 70 kilometers west of Austria. You will start your fourth day with a raft on the Danube river as you see Krems and Vienna on either side. Next on the schedule would be a visit to the impressive monastery of Göttweig. After that, you will be crossing the hills or take the picturesque route from Talgrabensteig via Talweg to Dürnstein where you will be spending the night. Check out the locally made wines and other cuisines that are sure to blow your mind.

Day 5: Visiting Dürnstein  and then transfer to Rossatz

After having breakfast in the hotel, you will take the ferry or small jetty from Dürnstein to Rossatz. You will start hiking with your travel guide and past the largest apricot growing area of Austria. You will then continue to the old tracks up to Seekopf from where you check out the Alps in its stunning majesty. After that, you can have the option of walking along the Danube River through the orchards and the ferry of your liking. You will then arrive at Weißenkirchen through a theme trail led through the vineyards and you will stay tonight at your local style hotel in Weißenkirchen. Enjoy the night at this place full of adventure.

Day 6: Wine trail at Weißenkirchen and then climb up to Seiber

After having some meal in the morning, you will then head for a wine trail leaving Weißenkirchen behind. These wine cellars also offer wine tasting to tourists and post that you can climb up to visit Seiber which is another beautiful location. The walk through the mountainous tracks of Buschandlwand can feel steeply but when you arrive at the observation platform at Seiber, you will soon forget about the hardship that led you to this place of stunning panoramic views. You can take an alternative route through the vineyards to the famous wine-growing community known by the name of Spitz a der Donau. You will be spending the night at Spitz after ending your hiking tour of the Wachau region.

Day 7: Transfer to Vienna and then to Budapest via Euro Rail

On the seventh day, check out of your hotel and get transferred to Vienna to catch a Euro Rail to Budapest, the vibrant cultural city of Hungary. Budapest is a big city with beauty oozing out of its entire pore. After reaching to Budapest, you can take a walk past various bridges that connect the twin cities of Buda and Pest. You can even explore the city on your own. Enjoy the nightlife of Budapest before starting a full vacation trip the next day.

Day 8: Exploring the capital city of Budapest

After having a great breakfast in the morning, you can get on a cycling expedition to explore major hotspots of the town. There are intimate bike pathways through the grand roads which you can take to understand the burgeoning culture of the city. Check out the awesome history of UNESCO World heritage sites inside the city. your guide will take you to various locations inside the city of greater historical and cultural importance. Spend the night in this beautiful city before departing on the next day.

Day 9: Departure from Budapest

Depending on the timing of your flight, you can spend some time in the markets to buy souvenirs and other stuff.
