Starting the trip with your arrival in the capital city, you will take a closer look at the history of Austria before moving to the adventurous part of the vacation. You will be visiting St Anton am Arlberg for Skiing before going to Eisriesenwelt in Werfen to check out world’s largest accessible ice caves. You can then visit Salzburg and then to Krimmler Wasserfal for trekking purposes. You will end this fantastic adventurous trip in the capital city on the last day. Day 1: Arrival in Vienna to kick-start the Austria Vacation
Your Austria vacation will start with your arrival in the beautiful city of Vienna which is also the capital. You will be received by your tour operator and guide at the airport who will take you to the pre-booked hotel. Depending upon the timing of the arrival, your itinerary for the day could be carved out. Day 2: Exploring the capital city of Vienna
Vienna has lots to offer to its visitors. Day 4: Skiing at St Anton am Arlberg

Though the Arlberg Ski area as a whole has plenty of blue runs, the skiing in St Anton is demanding and hence suited for the intermediates and above. Other areas such as Lech and Zurs are suited for beginners. Once you start skiing, you can feel it as a moment to be savored throughout life. Once you are done, come back to the hotel and relax.
Day 5: Travelling to Eisriesenwelt in Werfen
Another day of adventure beckons you on today. Today after having some meal, you will be traveling to Eisriesenwelt in Werfen to gaze at the world’s largest accessible ice caves. The Eisriesenwelt is a natural limestone ice cave located in the Werfen area of Austria which is nearly 40 km south of Salzburg. The ice caves are located inside the Hochkogel Mountain in the Tennengebirge section of the Alps. These ice caves are the largest in the world and extend more than 42 km. This area is very popular amongst tourists and more than 200,000 tourists visit these caves every year. These structures extend up to 30,000 sq meters and 42 km of narrow passages which form the interiors of the mountains around. Get back to the hotel and relax for the night.
Day 6: Explore the city of Werfen
Today you will be exploring the beautiful market town of Werfen situated in the district of St Johann am Pongau in the Austrian state of Salzburg. After having breakfast, your tour operator will take you to explore the markets of Werfen which is mainly known for Hohenwerfen Castle. Later in the day, do take out time to travel to see the greatest palace in Salzburg, Schloss Mirabell which showcases the baroque style of Architecture. Spend the evening in Salzburg and its lively evenings.
Day 7: Visiting Krimmler Wasserfal (waterfall)
Today’s destination would be to visit the liveliest waterfalls in Europe. The Krimml Waterfalls has a total height of 380 meters and is the highest waterfall in Austria. The fall falls on the route of Krimmler Ache River which is located near the village of Krimml in the High Tauern National Park in the Salzburg state. After you are done with gazing at the majestic waterfalls, walk along the waterfall which goes dramatically through thick forests and you can get to see several viewpoints. Extend your wall through the Achental valley which is surrounded by snow along and overshadows Holzlahneralm. Spend the night in Krimml and enjoy.
Day 8: Travelling to Innsbruck, the capital city of Tyrol
Today, you will be traveling to the beautiful city of Innsbruck which is the capital of Austria’s western state of Tyrol. It is located in the Alps and has been a destination for winter sports. It is also known for its imperial and modern architectures. Here, you will be trekking to the mountains which are more than 2000 meters high and have alpine covers all along. The Nordkette funicular, with futuristic stations designed by architect Zaha Hadid, climbs up to 2,256m from the city center for skiing in winter and hiking or mountaineering in warmer months. Stay here for the night.
Day 9: Tour of Zell am See to see Zeller Lake
In the last leg of your tour, you will be visiting Zell am See which is an Austrian town situated on the Lake Zell. It is here that you can capture some amazing moments near Lake Zeller. Apart from this, you can also view the bright chalets, the snow-capped peaks of the Hohe Tauern. You can then hop on to boating on the lake, hiking, and skiing along with the thick snow of the area. Later, take rest in your hotel before final departure.
Day 10: Departure from Vienna
In the morning of the last day, you will be traveling to Vienna for departure proceedings.
