You would be arriving in the capital city of Athens to start Greece Vacation of seven days. Through the seven days, you would be visiting Athens, Mykonos, Paros, Santorini, Los and coming back to Athens to end the trip. Check out the details of the trip in the full day-wise description here –
Day 1: Arriving in Athens and transfer to Mykonos
The tour would begin from the capital city of Athens as you arrive today on the first day. You would meet the tour operator and guide here who would take you to the hotel to freshen up. Depending upon the schedule, you would be arriving early in the morning only to start visiting some locations throughout the day. you would start by visiting the Acropolis which is perched on a hilly outside of the city and is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Next on the schedule would be to the wonders of the Parthenon and Temple of Hephaestus while giving a short visit to the temple of Goddess Athena who is the symbol of Ancient Greece and the birthplace of democracy. In the evening, you would be traveling to the Piraeus Port from where you would take a ferry to pass the islands of Syros and Tinos and arrive in the beautiful island city of Mykonos. Spend the night here while taking a walk down the beach in the night and getting yourself serene.
Day 2: Spending time in Mykonos
On the second day of the tour, you would be spending time in Mykonos which attracts huge swaths of tourists every day of the week. Check out the white-painted streets and local establishments as well as the rich history of Mykonos which is worth delving into. After that, head to the Paradise Beach and enjoy relaxing at these beaches while discovering the mysteries here. You can spend the time here on your leisure and can come back to the beach on the night to join the Party at the Paradise beach where discounted drinks are also served. Day 3: Travelling to Paros
On the morning of the third day, you would be traveling to Paros from Mykonos taking another ferry from the port of Mykonos. The island of Paros is one of the most pictured islands of the world and is known for its beauty and you will have the entire today to check this beautiful island out. You will be arriving by the lunch hours here in Paros after which you can go anywhere on the island in the afternoon. Check out many such beautiful sights of the island and relax by the model Mediterranean town or can head out as well. In the evening, you will be visiting the Parikia town which has the famous Church of 100 Doors where you can have the time of your life. In the evening, you can have an optional Greek experience of traditional foods, dancing as well as plate smashing, a stress buster that people of Paros practice. You can even go for an optional Paros Boat Trip as you relax on the ice-cold beverage and temperature around you. You can even go for snorkeling as you would be provided with the gears to explore the underwater realm of the Aegean Sea.
Day 4: Travelling to Santorini from Paros
On the fourth day of the Greece Vacation, you would be traveling to Santorini by reaching to the port of Paros in the morning and reaching Santorini by the afternoon. Here, you would meet your guide who would help you settle in a pre-booked cottage amid the stunning views of the surrounding archipelago on the famous volcanic sands of Santorini’s Black Beach. Soak up to the golden sands of the Santorini beach today evening and enjoy a sumptuous dinner tonight here by visiting some local restaurants and bars.
Day 5: Visiting Santorini
Today, you would be exploring the stunning island of Santorini as its views take over you completely. In the morning, you would hop on the optional Sun-Tour-Ini to know more about the island by visiting the views and local legends when you visit the stunning destinations of Oia, Black Beach, Red Beach, and the Capital Fira. Explore the highlights of the island and head to the capital of Fira which is a place loved by the photographers. Enjoy some local cuisines in your dinner as you prepare to leave the island and visit the island of Los which in itself is a treat. In the evening, you would be visiting the Ios which would be the penultimate destination in this Greece Vacation Package. You would take a ferry in the evening and cross the Aegean to arrive in the final resting place of Homer, the Ios. Your tour operator would help you in checking in and settling in after which you could visit the island and enjoy some of the best on offer. Day 6: Spending time in Ios
On the morning of the second last day, you would be spending it in some water-borne activities such as tubing, scuba diving, kayaking, or a free stand up paddle boarding taster– as your tour operator takes you through the itinerary of the day. hop on to some of the local breakfast available there as you carry on the water sports. After that, you can visit the Mylopotas Beach which is considered as one of the most visited beaches in Europe. Day 7: Departure from Athens
Today is the last day of a memorable tour as you bid adieu to the wondrous city of Athens. Depending upon the timing of the flight, you can go for some shopping here as well before your tour operator arranges for a transfer to the airport as per the procedure.
