Arrive in the beautiful city of Perth to start the Australia vacation package of eight days which would take you to more than 10 locations throughout the country. From Perth, you will travel to many locations of interest before coming to Adelaide to end the trip on the last day. Check out the details of the tour day-wise in the given itinerary here –
Day 1: Arrival in Perth and transfer to Fitzgerald River National Park
On the first day of the trip, arrive in the beautiful city of Perth to kick start the all-important Australia vacation package. Here, you will be met with the tour guide who would take you to the pre-booked hotel where you can refresh and have some meal. After getting fresh, you will start the travel due east from Perth crossing the Darling Ranges where you can have the first coffee break in the historic town of York which is the oldest inland town of Western Australia. After driving for some time, you will come across the famous Wave Rock under the shadow of which you will be having lunch. In the afternoon, you will arrive in the Fitzgerald River National Park which is an internationally recognized World Biosphere where the tour would officially start. Tonight, you would camp at the Fitzgerald River National Park and sleep under the stars.
Day 2: From Fitzgerald River National Park to Cape Le Grand National Park
The morning of the second day would be a pleasant one with all the freshness of the national park. So, you would start the new day with a brisk hike up the East Mt. Baron where you can take the coastal route into Esperance for a coffee and mosey. Here, you will be astonished to see the breathtaking sceneries of the area which can blow your mind. It is here that the camp would be set in one of the most beautiful national parks of Western Australia i.e., Cape Le Grand which is known for its sunbathing Kangaroos. The afternoon would be a free one where you can get on hiking or can get a selfie with the Kangaroo or just lie back and enjoy the day. in the evening, you would hike up Frenchman Peak which is another beautiful location to be. After this, you will get on the bus and get on the coastal drive while stopping at some beautiful and secluded beaches to get tanned and enjoy. Then, the lunch could be taken at the outback town of Norseman from where you can hit the Eyre Highway to set the journey eastbound. Today, the trip would be around 3 hours walking around 3 hours. Tonight, you will be shown the show of constellations and shooting stars at the bush camps on the Nullarbor.
Day 3: Visiting the Nullarbor & Koonalda Homestead
Today would be all about driving and you would get to see the drive around 500 kilometers of the world’s longest stretch of the straight road to cover. In the morning, you will get to see the vast size of the continent of Australia as well as the secrets this beautiful ancient land holds back. You will be making a stop at Eucla which is an old telegraph township which is mostly buried beneath dunes and then you would be going for the night camping at Koonalds Homestead which is located inside the Nullarbor National Park. This campsite was once a sheep shearing station and fuel stop for the passing by visitors unless it was rediscovered by the Nullarbor in the 1950s as a tourist spot itself. This place was abandoned in the 1970s and the site became a graveyard for the old cars left behind or broken down on the plain of Nullarbor. By the way, this place is also a dream place for the photographers who could take the beautiful shot of the place along with the sceneries of the area. Today, you would travel for around 6 hours and be checking out the clear southern skies ion the night at the camping at Koonalds Homestead.
Day 4: The day of the Great Australian Bight & Coodlie Park
Today would be dedicated to one of the most important fun activities on board this Australia vacation package. In the morning, you will start the travel stopping at the famous Camels/Kangaroos/Wombats Crossing road sign and the Bunda Cliffs, where Australia drops dramatically into the Southern Ocean. This place stretches for around 200 kilometers along the Great Australian Bight and is the world’s longest uninterrupted line of sea cliffs and an epic coastal lookout. Here, you will cross the Dingo fence at around 5,614 kilometers which is the world’s largest fence to enter the Yalata Aboriginal lands. In the afternoon of the fourth day, you will be visiting Ceduna Arts and Cultural Centre where you can hear about the styles and meanings of the indigenous works of the area while checking out the supplies at the Streaky Bay. You will arrive at the Coodlie Park Fark Retreat which would be the home base for the day and where you will enjoy a home-cooked BBQ feat. A meet and greet program would also be done here with all the fellow travelers and a campfire would be organized as well. you can get to have a cool eco shower here on a day which was rather tiring and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 5: Visiting Baird Bay and Mikkira Station
Today, you would be having an opportunity to swim, snorkel and splash with the creatures of the sea such as sea lions and dolphins when you go for a 3-hour cruise in the beautiful and quaint sheltered waters of the Baird Bay. This place would be filled with exciting activities which you can be part of given how exciting they are. After that, you can travel to the Point Labatt Conservation Park, which is the only place on the mainland where you can see the Australian Seal Pups who would be learning to swim or rest on the beach for the rest of the day. post-lunch, you would get off to the Lake Newland Conservation Park where you can get to test your sand boarding skills in some massive dunes with the help of the experts. Then, you will board the bus to get to the campsite for the day which would be set up at Mikkira Station. This place is called homeland for the Koalas who are cute little animals. You can even check out the koala filled gum trees and sleep here for the night with them after having 4.5 hours of travel for the entire day along with walks.
Day 6: Visiting Port Lincoln and Mikkira Station
The sixth day of the Australia vacation package would offer you two different itineraries. First would be for those who love aquatic wildlife or are seeking some adventure and adrenaline rush to see the great white shark which in itself is a terrifying yet nerve juggling experience. The second itinerary would be staying dry at a revolutionary glass viewing aqua sub, to the more extreme option of entering the cage. Both of these adventures are extreme and expert guides will always be provided although the tourists should be wary while trying these itineraries. If you choose the second option, you will get to explore the Eyre Peninsula’s amazing coastal scenery. Here you can check out the wild and rugged Whalers Way to the white, sandy beaches of Coffin Bay National Park. After having lunch, you will head then to Port Lincoln which is also known as the ‘Australia’s Seafood Capital’ and where you can use this place to have some tasty seafood. Also, try to explore some of the regions which are known for various fun activities and in the night you can head back to lay low with the friendly Koalas near the Mikkira Station to camp for the second night.
Day 7: Visit Port Lincoln and transfer to Mt. Remarkable
Surfing is very popular in Australia and hence you would get into the Australian hat when you put on the wetsuit for a two-hour learn-to-surf lesson with Xtreme Kite & Paddle. You will be going for the swim at the turquoise waters of Fisheries Bay in Port Lincoln. Those who do not want to surf or swim can relax or explore the nearby areas. After lunch, you would be getting towards the ancient Southern Flinders Ranges and Mt. Remarkable National Park where you will be setting up the camp for the night at Mambray Creek. After that, you will head out to see the beautiful native wildlife and stay here for the night.
Day 8: back to Adelaide and departure
On the morning of the last day, you would be embarking on the last hike of the tour and reach Davey's Gully. Once you come down, you would board the bus and head towards Adelaide which is another beautiful town to explore. The whole of Southern Australia is known for world-class wine and hence the last stop of the tour would be for lunch and wine tasting in the beautiful Clara valley. Once you reach Adelaide, your tour operator would help you get acquainted with the departure proceedings as well. Depending upon the time of departure, you can even go on some shopping in the area which is known for its fashionistas. At the time of departure, the tour guide would help you transfer to the airport for final departure.
