The Tahiti vacation package will commence with your arrival in the capital city of the island nation, Papeete to discover Tahiti like never before. In eight days, you will be visiting more than 10 locations taking you through Papeete, French Polynesia, and other destinations as well. Check out the details of the tour here in the following itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Papeete
On the first day of the Tahiti Vacation package, you will be arriving nice and early in the morning to kick start the most anticipated Tahiti vacations. You will reach one of the most exclusive and remote islands in the world which has not been traversed much. When you arrive here, you will be met with the support staff who would help you get transferred to the hotel and take some rest after which the tour would officially start. You will then be explained about the tour and told what to expect and how you can have some refresher with the Bamboo. Day 2: From Papeete to Haapiti
On the second day of the day, once you have had breakfast, you can pack your bags and board the boat to get to the island of Moorea. This place has a reference in many Hollywood movies, as well as their famous shoots, which have also been done here. For those who don’t know Moorea, you can very well call it paradise. Once you arrive here, you will be accommodated into the beach bungalows and there you can some rest before you jump out and hit the island straightaway. Haapiti is largely known as the surf capital of the world as its lagoons also cater to some of the wildest and exotic lives on Tahiti. If you are brave enough, you can go for a swim with sharks and stingrays and those who are looking for some lighter entertainment can watch for dolphins and whales from the boats you will be assigned to. Stay here for the night and enjoy the beach while it is still in your reach.
Day 3: Another day in Haapiti
The third day of the tour would be a workday for you. Oh, please don’t get startled with this statement as it would be a fun activity with a local NGO which where you can help them cut and preserve the coral reefs, clean the Island’s beachfront and teach some local children the importance of sustainability and environmentalism and this is why Tahiti is special as it involves the tourists into these works making them feel special. Having helped the NGO, you would then hit the beach and get soaked up with the number of sunrays that comes here. In the evening, you will be awarded a Happy hour and barbecue from the NGO to satiate the appetites with which you have worked the entire day. During the sunset, you can go for a photography expedition and take photos of the beaches also. Stay here for the night and enjoy the late-night beach life.
Day 4: From Haapiti to Fare Hape
On the morning of the fourth day, you will be heading back to the island of Tahiti and then take a small trip to one of the most sacred destinations of the French Polynesia – Fare Hape. You will cross Moorea in the way by the boat and then ho on to 4x4 jeep journey to reach into the center of the island where you will be spending two days in this secluded, ancient village which is virtually hidden and untouched by the western world. This place is filled with the Polynesian rituals and beliefs which directly go to the heart of the Tahitian values. The highlights of the day would be visiting and understanding the 1000s-year-old culture which includes herbal healing, astronavigation, and simply building old-world houses from scratch. You will also be introduced to the local Haururu organization which invests as well as protects the island’s sacred grounds. You can even try your hands at constructing the Polynesian homes, planting medicinal herbs, cleaning the jungle, river damming and essentially building the infrastructure for an entire irrigation system which are some high-level tasks for a volunteer but also makes the life easy for you as a person. Day 5: staying in Fare Hape
Today, you will be learning about the jungle and exploring it to the fullest like Tarzan and Jane who followed the sounds of the jungle to trace the animals. There are some wild waterfalls here as well where you can go for bathing or swimming as well in the rawest possible atmosphere you ever experienced. Stay here for the night.
Day 6: From Fare Hape to Teahupoo
On the morning of the sixth day of the trip, you will be bidding farewell to Fare shape and its local populace and head to the remote area of Teahupoo which lies on the south-east coast of the island of Tahiti. The island is coated in cunning coastlines and it leaves the adventure part wide open for anyone to assess it. Once you arrive here, you will be taken on a special boat tour where the caves of Vaipori will wait for your arrival. It is here that the lunch will be served and then you can go for lounging as well. Stay in Teahupoo for the night.
Day 7: From Teahupoo to Papeete
Today would be the last day of adventure and you can have the fulfilling of the lifetime when you delve in Teahupoo this morning. This place is packed with natural things, feeling and desire and here you can explore the surrounding waterfalls, go hiking, kayaking, or even spend the morning tanning in the sun along the waterfront. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Papeete for a final night and then depart the next morning. Once you reach Papeete in the evening, there will be organizing a special night for the folks on the tour and you can be part of that to spend the night with full fun.
Day 8: Departure from Papeete
On the last day of the tour, it is time to bid a farewell to the rawest experience you have had for your lifetime and you would be feeling grateful for that as well. So, depending upon the timing of the flight, your tour operator would help you shift to the main airport of the island nation for the final departure proceedings.
